take 5 task cards + treat tag: make a habit of family history!

Say, do you have a couple spare hours to get some genealogy going on? 🧬 If you are a total family history boss with indexing totals to flex all day, kudos to you! πŸ‘©πŸ»‍πŸ’»

But as for me...here it comes...I often struggle to find the time. πŸ•° I know this is a tired excuse, but I also know is not uncommon. We all could use a little extra encouragement & motivation to do my family history!

Enter the Take 5 treat tag & task cards! 😎 Who can’t spare 5 minutes for some bite sized family history? πŸͺ Who wouldn’t love to get some tasks done by small and simple means?

Each task card has something you can really do in 5 minutes. Put them on a binder ring, turn them into a booklet, or get them in a fun editable bingo board format over here.

These task cards are squares so that they are also textable to your participants. Simply screenshot and send. 🀳 It doesn’t get much easier for your group members than getting a reminder message on their phone to do something quick and easy that’s also on their phone, right?

Excite your participants about the task cards at the beginning or reward them at the end by giving them the Take 5 bar πŸ˜‹, along with a treat tag to connect these super fun activities.

Now, although I couldn’t love these amazing printables any more, some people might check out or disregard something they see as just another “boring” to do list. πŸ€” How do we show them to how fun & amazing family history can be? 🀷🏻‍♀️

🀩 We can introduce them them to the fun with an interactive and exciting family history themed activity!

After planning, prep, and design, I am so excited to share activity resources with YOU so you can throw your own family history celebration with your Primary, Youth or Relief Society sisters that they will never forget. πŸ’πŸ»‍♀️

πŸ‘‰This packet, inspired by the movie Coco, is intended to help celebrate families πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦ and the richness that comes from remembering those who have gone before us. It includes three hands-on activities that are fun and interactive, along with a sweet devotional that emphasizes the importance of keeping your own records. Best of all, I've designed the activity so it can be done in person 😷 or virtually, πŸ‘©πŸ»‍πŸ’» based on your area's current needs.

This activity is so special and fun because it's based on the family history of YOUR OWN group. Because of that, it does require a little bit of advance preparations for you and your participants but 🀫 the prep is designed to get them excited about and started researching some family history, which is also the goal of this whole activity. πŸ€—

We did this activity with our group and had a blast. πŸš€ Are you ready to make it happen for yours? Get more deets + grab everything you need for the activity right here in the shop! πŸ’
