SO excited to study D&C this year. 🤩 The reading schedule is light & I’m so loving the aesthetic of this year’s binder printables!!

If you’re new to the blog (👋!!), one way to study Come, Follow Me is with a study binder. Each year I make the binder inserts as a gift to y’all to use & enjoy.

First and foremost is the cover.✨The iconic Kirtland temple, a forest and flowers all made this year’s beautiful look!

👩🏻‍🎨I went all out with the extra goodies this year. I hope the spine, motivational D&C bookmark & new foldable tabs enhance your binder and your study!

😎This weekly study tracker is so multifunctional. Plan out how you’re going to divide this week’s reading, record one insight daily, write your favorite verse from each study + so much more. 📋

Here we have the daily study page! I think the information bubbles in the middle speak for themselves 😂 but you may be wondering... what’s with the hexagons?

I designed this page to be used with the manual for Come, Follow Me. In the “ideas for personal study” section, you’ll find around 4 paragraphs like this one below, about D+C 1.👇

“The Lord invites me to 'search these commandments.' A preface introduces a book. It identifies the book’s themes and purposes and helps readers prepare to read. As you read section 1—the Lord’s 'preface' to the Doctrine and Covenants (verse 6)—look for the themes and purposes the Lord gave for His revelations. What do you learn from section 1 that will help you get the most benefit from your study of the Doctrine and Covenants? For example, you might ponder what it means to 'hear the voice of the Lord' in these revelations (verse 14) or to 'search these commandments' (verse 37)."

You’ll see there are questions, references, segments, activities and more in these paragraphs. Each bite sized question, source or insight can be written in one of the hexagons! 🤓 I've demonstrated this in the photo/video tutorial you can use if you're confused.

Pull your weeklong study together during church by referencing these study pages. Add your come follow me insights from the church supported sacrament meetings and 2nd hour lessons, building on what you’ve studied this week. 📝

While these printables are pretty, I made sure that they were practical as well. All study pages have black and white "coloring page" versions. 🖍

💁🏻‍♀️This reading schedule featuring the Kirtland & Nauvoo temples is the cherry on top. 🍒 The whole D&C schedule on one cute printable page? Yes, please! It's all yours.

But before you download + dash, I want to make sure you know that this isn't the only resource I have to make your life easier as a busy Latter-Day Saint.💛If you are confused on how to use any of the binder pages, I've made a photo + video tutorial to help you out. 🤳 And to easily see & have all my free Latter-Day Saint resources at your fingertips, follow me on Pinterest! Now here's the promised PDF in English, Español + Português. Happy studying!

2021 come, follow me binder -- demo/diy

Hey y'all! You ready to make a 2021 study binder for come, follow me?

If you’re new to the blog (👋!!), one way to study Come, Follow Me is with a study binder. Each year I make the binder inserts as a gift to y’all to use & enjoy. Here, I'll use photo + video to guide you through each study binder page.

You know what you want when you see it? Are you ready to see how to put this thing together, right away? Then you'll love this quick video on how it all comes together. 🎬

You saw the inserts + the steps. (Ready to print? I share links at the bottom of each post. 🖨) Here they are in photo form so you can get a glimpse of each part for as long as is needed.

Isn't it so perfect that the prints from the video are free + easy to use? Scroll down for the link. 👇

I am just loving the Kirtland Temple as the front cover this year. So iconic!

Ignore the sketchy photography/lighting of the pic. 🤣 Enjoy what there is to love about this 2021 reading schedule!

This Restoration quote bookmark can help motivate/remind you to do that D+C study and hold your  place in your scriptures!

Hang it up on your fridge, wall, church bulletin board, or wherever you know it will help you stay on track for this year.💁🏻‍♀️

The spine + dividers are a few of the extra goodies I added to the kit this year! This step definitely takes the longest-lots of cuting, pasting, and hole punching. But I think it's so worth it to get these leveled-up divider tabs.

The final step is as simple as can be. 😌 Insert the study pages (daily worksheet, weekly page, sunday notes) and use them--how? I'll detail + share examples below. 💬

The first study page is probably the most complicated. Let's get it over with!  I think the information bubbles in the middle speak for themselves 😂 but you may be wondering... what’s with the hexagons?

Next is the weekly study page. 😎

This weekly study tracker is so multifunctional. Plan out how you’re going to divide this week’s reading, record one insight daily, write your favorite verse from each study + so much more. 📋

Finally are the Sunday notes! I'm so excited about them!

While the above version is colorful, as I created the study pages, I realized to be realistic, there would need to be black and white editions to help people save ink. So the coloring page versions were born!

You can record your insights while your children are kept busy by coloring in the flowers and letters on the page. You can also give your children or yourself to enjoy on their own.

A spiritual way to entertain your little ones on Sundays? Yes, please! It, and the rest of these amazing 2021 printables are all yours.
