*I've updated this awesome treat tag kit from 2020! You can buy the 2021 edition in the shop.*
School is starting up again! I have a free treat tag to share as well as some cute + exciting treat tags for this special year. π·π©π»
___________
As we go back to school, it's the season of making new friends and figuring out your relationships with the old. π₯
It's also the season of possibly leaving your summer church bubble of family vacations and reunions, girls camp, youth conference, and EFY, as you have to dare to stand alone π§♀️ by living your high standards.
___________
So what's the solution to this? πΈπ» 2015 Cinderella -- backed up doctrinally by our scriptures, prophets and apostles -- has an idea: "have courage πͺ + be kind π."
Y'all can give this treat tag based on that to students you serve in your calling or ministering, along with a quote card with Elder Wirthlin's words on this subject. π¬
___________
He says, "Kindness is how a Christlike person treats others. Kindness should permeate all of our
words & actions at work, at school (emphasis added,) at church & especially
in our homes." π
I wanted to leave out the end part, but it still applies. We can spend all our energy being "on" at work, school + church throughout the day, leaving no energy for kindness to those that matter most to us in our homes. π¨π©π§π¦ It's an interesting mini lesson from his great quote, which is featured on the treat tags (link at bottom of post!) y'all can get for free.
___________
Now here's the kicker. If one is going to be home all or most of the time this school year, there's much less opportunity to "have courage and be kind" in a school environment. So how do we adapt our back to school messages to this crazy year?
This new packet in the shop has all of the treat tags needed to stage a perfect 2020 friendly back to school package to drop off to the students you serve. Use as little or as many of the tags as you wish!
The main idea/package tag for your gift says "school may be different this year, but you've got what it takes to succeed." ππ
Then there are treat tags for items you can gift individually over several weeks, put into a bag and drop off before the big day, or whatever works for you.
Some items are corona related--a doctrinal gift tag for a mask and hand sanitizer, but not all of them are, because we focus enough on this pandemic already! See the actual breakdown of tags below.
There are tags pairing with items great for those in Junior Primary π§π§(bubbles, crayons, glue, etc) and other items students of any age would enjoy (treats).
The treats the tags were paired with above are just the beginning of ways the packet can be used. Included is a pairing guide with tons of ideas for items to go with each versatile tag so that you can optimize these gifts for your group and your budget. π
π
You will love this packet + it is a great way to connect with the children + youth you haven't seen for a while. Uplift, inspire, and encourage the students as you send them back to school this year with a gift featuring these colorful + cute treat tags!! π
